Kurdish Story Collection Project
In villages in Turkey and among Kurdish refugees here in the United States and abroad, Diane has been collecting the folkloric myths and legends of the Kurdish people.
Living Myth Events
The Living Myth Project brings together ancient myths and modern landscapes to create new and vital intersections of Myth and Life. Current projects have taken place in such unexpected locations as the Boston subway system (Millennium LabyrinTh- co-created with Mari Novotny-Jones and with Ean White), and the groves of Arnold Arboretum (In the Groves created with Celtic Harper Margot Chamberlain.)
The symbol of the Living Myth is that of Turtle traveling from an older world to new lands. In keeping with the power of myth to connect worlds, Turtle is flown across mountains and waters on the wings of birds.
